Established in 1959, OHARA Corporation began with the production of konjac, but we now also handle the primary processing of jellies, flans, and branded agricultural products.
Currently, Kuzukiri is our main product, of which we produce more than 2 million units annually. There are many kinds of jellies on the market, but most kinds are not eaten with a fork or chopsticks, along with refreshing fruit juice. Our Kuzukiri product is exported to many countries abroad. We established the affiliated company, KKI Inc., to further facilitate exports. Both Konjac and Kuzukiri are plant-based, gluten-free and have been consumed in Japan for centuries. We have made various innovations to meet current needs and are proud to have created products that are both health-conscious and delicious.
